EDINBURGH, 11 November 2010 – Runtime Revolution Ltd has introduced LiveCodeTM 4.5.1, a general maintenance release for all users, bringing added stability across all the platforms LiveCode supports, including Desktop, Web and Mobile. This latest release is free for all LiveCode 4.5 users.

New features and updates include:

  • Enhanced keyboard layout handling
  • Improvements to MySQL database access and database security
  • Enhanced support for XML namespaces
  • Improvements to embedded Web browser object
  • Security protocol enhancements
  • Over 60 other bug fixes and minor enhancements

LiveCode 4.5.1 also adds support for the accompanying LiveCode iOS Mobile plug-in pre-release for building iOS apps for the Apple App Store.
