Yes, its true. RunRevLive.13 preparations are under way, and this time it will be in our backyard. We're really excited about this for lots of reasons: We've booked a proven venue with Dynamic Earth, and based on feedback from the hugely sucessful Atlantic City event, we'll be bringing you even more direct interaction and hands on experience with the team.

We're working really hard to make this event the most accessible ever, in terms of location, dates, content and even pricing.

Location
Edinburgh has excellent travel connections with the rest of the world, and accessing the conference hotels and venue is easy, whether you are arriving by plane, train, car or even bus. It is of course a world renowned destination, with masses to see and do, whether its history, scenery, shows, gardens or architecture that excites you. The only problem you will encounter is choosing between all the possible things you could see and do, in the limited time available! We'll be making available a "spouse" package, so that you can bring friends, partners or family at a reduced price and they can enjoy the sights of Edinburgh while you revel in a feast of LiveCode.

Venue
RunRevLive.13 will take place in Dynamic Earth, in the heart of Edinburgh. We chose this venue for a number of reasons, not least that we have held the conference here before and found it to be a great location. It has excellent conference spaces and very friendly, helpful staff.

The only major criticisms we've received regarding the Atlantic City venue concerned problems with the internet, so we have gone to considerable trouble to avoid similar issues this time round. The last time we held our conference in Dynamic Earth (in 2009) we had them install a dedicated line for our internet useage and we have confirmed that that line is still there. They are also in the process of upgrading their internet connections to the very latest and best available, and this work will be completed well before our conference. We are as confident as we can be that the internet access available will meet your expectations!

Dynamic Earth is of course itself a fascinating attraction, and well worth exploring in between sessions.

Content
One thing that came out of the Atlantic City event was the huge success of the one-to-one sessions. We had such great feedback on these that we are not only planning to repeat them this year, but will be expanding on the format to offer workshops. Each workshop session will focus on one specific LiveCode topic. They will offer the opportunity to work through a hands on tutorial with an expert, ask questions and resolve issues surrounding the topic. Signup for each workshop will be limited to a small number of attendees so that you can receive individual attention to really get to grips with the code. These workshops will run continually throughout the conference, covering hot LiveCode topics in depth.

You will also be able to sign up for individual one-to-one sessions with members of the RunRev development team if you have a burning issue you need our help to resolve.

As always, there will be presentations throughout the day by community experts on a wide variety of topics, taking place in the main conference space.

Pricing
In these stringent economic times we know that price is an ever more sensitive issue. We want to enable as many of you as possible to benefit from the fabulous experience of a RunRevLive conference.
