RunRevLive.12 - Venue Change
Join us in Atlantic City for RunRevLive.12, promising to be our biggest and best yet. And there's still time to save money on your ticket.

By Heather Nagey

RunRevLive.12 is getting closer, so brighten up your winter by planning to visit sunny New Jersey in June, and have a LiveCode fest with likeminded people.

I need to report a change of venue for this event. We previously advertised it would take place in the Dolce Basking Ridge venue, but it will in fact be held in Dolce Seaview, just outside Atlantic City. Its not a huge change, you can expect the same outstanding accommodation, food and service, its just a couple of hours down the track in New Jersey. Here's what they say about themselves:

By including all the tastes, sights and subtle touches that define gracious hospitality, Seaview transforms the typical meeting or conference into a celebration for all the senses. Our meeting packages thoughtfully integrate services, activities like golf outings and spa treatments, and unexpected extras through a customized approach that achieves goals. Each of the 270 guest rooms and 16 suites features luxurious bedding, state-of-the-art in-room technology such as high-speed wireless Internet, flat-screen TVs, and superior amenities.

Mmmm I can't wait. But of course, the venue isn't the real reason you want to join us there. This is the ultimate LiveCode experience, where you spend four days learning and sharing tips with the experts.

The focus on the conference this year will be Mobile - Levelling Up. Over 3 days our expert speakers are going to share with you their vast breadth of knowledge that covers all part of the mobile app life cycle - starting with design through development, testing, perfecting and right on to deploying, marketing and selling your app. There will be something for everyone, be you a complete beginner or a professional developer with years of experience.

Beginners
If you're just starting out, our all day beginners track is always popular. Learn to build your first LiveCode app with this hands on course, led by expert instructors. As well as a dedicated track, you will meet with many experienced developers who can share tips with you. Our popular "code kitchens" are a great place to get puzzling questions explained to you personally by members of our development team.

Professional Developers
If LiveCode is a part of your business plan, you cannot afford to miss this event. You'll learn more in three days of face to face interaction than in six months on your own. Time is money, and you could resolve issues that have been troubling you, get one to one time with our development team, get inspiration for your business and learn to be more efficient and effective from our wide range of in-depth sessions on all aspects of LiveCode.

Educators
If you using or planning to use LiveCode in an educational setting, this is the ideal opportunity for you to get up to speed and become really comfortable with the tool. Talk with and learn from other educators, find out what other people are doing, and gain transferrable skills to take back to your students.

Get in the Game
Whatever your interest, its clear that creating both mobile and desktop games is a huge and growing part of app development these days. Even if your app is not itself a game, it may include game like elements. We'll be taking a look at this trend in RunRevLive.12, with sessions aimed at helping to show you new and exciting ways to engage your audiences.

Stay up to date with the latest information on RunRevLive here. Until 31st December you can still get the earlybird prices, get a ticket including accommodation at the conference hotel here, or just buy a ticket and arrange your own accommodation here.
