MacWorld San Francisco 2007

by Heather Nagey

I hope you are looking forward to the New Year as much as we are. We're kicking off with a flurry of activity this month! David Simpson and Guy Jones (9th-11th only) will be at MacWorld San Francisco on behalf of Runtime. Runtime Representatives will also be at the Consumer Electronics Show Las Vegas, and BETT educational show in London.

In support of MacWorld, not only can you get a special deal by dropping by David Simpsons booth, but we're running an offer for the duration of the show, for all of you who just can't make it to San Francisco this January.

Until the end of MacWorld San Francisco on January 12th we are selling a two platform Mac and Windows license for Revolution Studio for the price of a single platform license.

To get this simply go here.

Revolution is the best solution to cross platform application building: with any Studio license just build on whatever platform you are comfortable and familiar on, then target the other major platforms with the click of a button. This is a great boon to the Windows developer who would like to target the Mac platform without the headache of learning an entire new OS. Likewise, dedicated Mac developers who love their Mac but want to target the lucrative Windows market know that Revolution is the solution for them.

However, having a two platform license is a huge bonus because as any serious developer knows, testing and tweaking code on the target platform is the most efficient way to check software prerelease. Instead of running the application which you lovingly built on Windows, on a Mac, then finding (or even worse, having your customers find) one or two things don't work quite the same (did your fonts overflow? window position slightly wrong?), taking it back to your Windows box, reopening in Revolution, fixing, back to Mac to test... you can cut out this entire painful cycle by having a copy of Revolution that allows you to edit directly on the Mac. Or if your favorite platform is Mac, likewise you can run Revolution on Windows to test and edit code.

This offer, saving you a significant 33% off the full price license, is only open until the end of MacWorld San Francisco, which is 12th January 2007. So don't hesitate, if you want Revolution to do some serious authoring with, get it today!
