With the launch of LiveCode 5, and now LiveCode 5.0.1, things are starting to settle down a little bit here in the RunRev offices. Our dev team, having worked furiously to bring the release out, are enjoying getting back to a more sustainable pace. And while the marketing and customer service teams are incredibly busy, everyone is glad the launch has gone so successfully.

As we reach this post-major-release point in our technology schedule and head towards the end of the year, the time has come for us to take a more detailed look at all our plans for 2012. We're incredibly excited about some of the things that we're working on bringing you next year. We're now in the process of refreshing our internal road map and updating it to reflect all the things it should; most importantly meeting customer needs across our varied customer base, addressing marketing trends and ensuring that you, and we, can make the most of every opportunity in the market. Being a small company, RunRev has to make well considered choices that best reflect your requirements, needs and wants. We've been growing steadily, which has resulted in increasing levels of investment in the platform across diverse areas. But we still have to ensure we pick the areas that meet the needs of as many customers as possible so that we can continue to deliver these positive results that support your business, school or home.

As ever this is a complex process and one we take very seriously. So it is time to ask for your help. Earlier this week I sent out a survey to all our registered customers. I would be very grateful if you could take the time to fill it out in full. It should only take 15 minutes or so to complete. Your opinion really matters to us, and every single survey response, together with every comment you write, is considered when it comes to honing our focus areas for next year. The survey is quite extensive, covering the various multitude of different feature sets and platforms that we support. However, to save you time, you only need to fill out and give us feedback on the areas you are interested in.
