Only eight days left to beat the price rise
Runtime Revolution would like to thank its partners and the cross-platform solution provider market for their support through the year 2006. As the year turns from autumn to winter, the staff of Runtime Revolution reflect on the changes in the software marketplace and how they affect our customer: the solution provider. |
New Technology
To better serve you, Revolution has acquired new browser, SQL and font technology plugins. These products will be integrated into the Revolution
product family and made available in new versions of Revolution Studio
and Enterprise early in Quarter One 2007.
All three plugins broaden what professional developers can achieve with
Revolution. Revolution is already the leading tool for deploying not
only visually stunning, cross platform desktop applications and
gui-less CGIs; but now with these features, will provide a complete
experience for hybrid desktop and web solutions.
For detailed discussion about the coming features and the acquisition
of browser technology, check out the newsletter article Browser, SQLite and font
capabilities added to Revolution
Ahead of the Curve
Just as Apple Computer completes translation of its product line from PowerPC to Intel processors, so Microsoft is preparing to ship its next generation of Windows - Windows Vista. Runtime Revolution was the first third party cross-platform RAD tool developer to support compilation for Universal Binaries. Likewise, Runtime Revolution is preparing for the appearance of the next generation of Windows. We make the tools for cross platform development - but you deliver the solutions.
A lot of vendors would like you to use one tool only but that’s not how it really works. You need alternatives so that you can deliver what your customer wants. Solution providers need many tools to serve the changing needs of their customers. Just take a look at how Runtime stacks up compared to other tools on the market:
