Creating Windows Shortcut

Yes :-)

...
    create alias (specialfolderpath("start") & "/" & "Name of 
Alias.lnk") to file "path to original app..."
...

!! Dont forget the suffix *.lnk (link) for the alias!!!

In the dox ->
specialfolderpath
create alias
