If you’re a professional developing with LiveCode then this plan is for you. It includes everything you need to do to get the most out of developing with LiveCode. We include a membership mailing list staffed by our development team and RunRev executive management, access to pre-release software, direct access to our searchable bug report database and six Quick Incidents giving you the peace of mind you need. We know what it’s like to be up against a deadline on a major project and hit a challenging technical issue. We’re here to help. Think of the LiveCode Developer Program as your direct conduit to our expert LiveCode developer team here at RunRev.
The LiveCode developer team and executive management from RunRev staff this mailing list. It's the place to give feedback on your experience of LiveCode direct to the people who are hard at work on the next version. It's the place to get your questions answered quickly by our knowledgeable experts. It's the place to hear about what’s happening next so you can plan future versions of your software solution.
We include access to all pre-release versions of LiveCode and any deployment packs for which you hold a license (for the previous shipping version). See what’s coming next, test it against your software and give us feedback. Help to shape future versions of your platform.
Search the LiveCode Quality Control Center directly to see if the issue you are experiencing has already been reported, if there is a workaround, or resolution scheduled. Submit issues directly to the database. Where possible we will prioritize bug reports submitted by members of the LiveCode Developer Plan.
Up against a deadline with a major project and need help with a problem quickly? The LiveCode Developer Plan includes six Quick Incidents per year. You can use a Quick Incident to get a rapid response on a bug report or a quick answer to a technical question.
To use a Quick Incident with a bug report, simply tell us the bug number you’d like to use your incident with. We’ll look at the bug quickly, then do our best to either provide a good workaround or include it on the list to be resolved in the next release. If we can’t find any way to either work around the issue or provide a fix in the next version then we’ll let you know, explain why and we’ll refund the Quick Incident to your account.
To use a Quick Incident with a technical question, just let us know that you’d like to use an incident when you submit your question. We’ll come back with a quick answer. Please note that the goal with these incidents is to provide a rapid, expert answer to a technical issue you are having. We’ll do our best to answer any reasonable question but we won’t write code for you and if the problem is really complex and involved we may ask you to purchase a full Support Incident. If we need to do that we’ll explain why and refund the Quick Incident to your account.
The LiveCode Developer Program costs $199 year. We’re so sure you’ll love the program that we include a full money back guarantee. If you aren’t satisfied at any point we will refund you any unused months.
