General Questions
Which edition of Revolution do I need, Media, Studio or Enterprise?
This depends on what you want to do. You can see a feature comparison chart here. Media is the entry level product, great for quick tasks, students, beginning programmers and anyone who wants to try the power of Revolution. Studio is ideal for businesses, shareware authors and anyone who wants to build standalone applications, connect to databases, run CGI's and target multiple platforms. Enterprise allows you to create code on any Revolution supported platform, as well as target multiple platforms, adds SSL security to your code, allows connection to Oracle databases and gives you access to the exclusive improve Revolution discussion group.
I haven't received my license yet, where is it?
Have you checked your spam filters? This is the commonest reason for you not to have received your licensing email after purchase. Unfortunately you won't always know that an email from us has been trapped, since some ISP's do spam filtering before mail even reaches your inbox. We recommend that you specifically whitelist any email from runrev.com to ensure you receive your licensing information and important customer communications. If you've checked your spam filters and you still can't find the missing email, please email us
