tRev Webinar Rocks and Roars
Learn how the dinosaur can really rip through time

by Heather Nagey

The third in our series of RevSelect webinars took place on Tuesday 4th August, and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.

After seeing Jerry in action, its clear that tRev can save you hours of time on your scripting, as well as eliminating a number of potential sources of frustration. The great autocomplete feature not only manages to complete built in rev keywords and command structures, it will pick up and fill out your custom terms as well, which means less typing and less typos. The compile, save and archive action means you can easily roll back your code when you find yourself driving down the wrong street. Multiple tabs, comprehensive search and keyboard shortcuts make for a smooth and efficient coding experience.

A major bonus is the stability that tRev brings to the whole experience. Since it is running externally from the Revolution IDE, it eliminates many possible sources of conflict preventing unexpected freezes and crashes. The ability to turn the tRev window transparent, then click through it to access objects in the Rev IDE beneath is extremely nifty:

For the month of August, you can get tRev and Studio together for a 20% discount, using the coupon code STUDIOTREV20.

The next webinar will take place on Tuesday 18th August, 2pm BST (9am EST) and will focus on Spell Check, a brand new product coming soon to RevSelect. The webinar will be presented by program author Scott McDonald. Sign up here.
